I stopped in the library looking for "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" today. Somebody stole it.

It's well worth stealing.
All I'm going to say is if you get the chance, read it and make up your own mind. I thought it was hilarious but it may just be a British sense of humour.
Holywood certainly fecked the film up.
Once you read it, you will have a favourite line from the book. It won't be the same one for everyone, so I'm not going to spoil it by telling you mine. Read it and then PM me.

I've got to locate it first. I live in the woods 4 miles outside a town of 1500. Moved here from the Chicago area. Talk about cultural shock!

That sounds great. I live in town and as soon as I step foot out of my front door, I'm surrounded by a seething mass of humanity. There are times when I need to get away from it for a few days, but when I do after about a week or so I do miss it.

I can walk outside bareassed naked and don't have to worry' If we leave the door open for the cats, raccoons and skunks come in the living room and eat their dry cat food. I miss the cultural advantages of the big city, but I'd hate to go back. We even got high speed internet this summer so I don't have to go to McDonald's to be able to post here!

Belief in God is not a religion. Religion is a persons way of believing in God. I believe in God, I do not believe in religion.

Good point. I would say believe in yourself. If you believe you're doing the right thing, then you probably are.

Well said.

It's also possible to be spiritual without being religious.
