I would like to know from anyone using PS Elements 11 if it provides capability to "stitch" multiple photos to create a panoramic photo. Does it also read NEF files from Nikon cameras. I have not had a chance to review the software and am upgrading my hard drive so do not want to download a trial. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Yes and Yes, not sure if v11 deals with NEF from D7100.

Don't forget v12 is out now.

Thanks very much to you both...I'll check out the links dirtpusher. I'll have to see if I want to shell out the extra cash for v.12.

You have to have camera raw plug in version 7.4 and it is in elements 11

It will do everything you want it to do. Read some articles about it

and learn something.

Did this change from PSE 10?

I recently created several panoramas in PSE 10,but my sequence was:

File > New > Photomerge Panorama

I was very satisfied with the results.

Yes, it did.
Actually, I never had version 10, went from 9 to 11, and in version 9 it is like you describe here.

Thanks.

I'm thinking of going to PSE 12, so i suppose I'll have to adapt to a bunch of changes.

This article gives a list of what's gone:

I can't find the list of new stuff right now, but one I am happy with after I did some "playing" is the Content Aware Move Tool. Had a couple of wedding photos with a tree growing out of the bride's head! Fixed. Not entirely to my satisfaction, but I am sure that's the newness of the tool, I'll play some more with it this coming weekend.
