Excellent work, Val, and I'll bet your granddaughter is extremely proud of these.
Thank you Dixiegirl. Erin liked the one with fire on and I have to do one with her in her fire leotard from gymnastics. She did not like the eyes red. As this is the first picture that she has not likes I do not mind. Thanks for your comment. Appreciate it. :D

Nice effect on the first one.... Care to divulge some secrets??
I'd love to get my Granddaughter looking like that!! :-D
Hi Geezer Glad you liked it. I took Erin's picture and used a filter in Smart Photo Editor which is an online prog. I then selected the irises of both eyes together and changed the color in hue and saturation in Photoshop. :D

Thanks, I will give that a try....
Very nice.
As another grandpa here.
Is it not just simply great to be able to get to do projects with our grandkids?
Tanks for sharing.

Thanks for your comment nafply. I agree with you, I love being able to photograph them and they are always so willing. Glad you liked it. :D
One of the things I did correct for sure as a new young father is take a "ton" of pictures of my son as he grew up.
It kept him in our memories and at the time kept everything in balance as to how young he was.
As a grandfather I think my grandchildren would be surprised to see me without either a camera or an instrument in my hand.
I am lucky to be able to mentor hundreds of young people each week, and some adults too, but my grand kids of course have that special place that not even your own children can occupy.
Keep taking her picture, but be sure to get into the frame once in awhile yourself so they will have that someday to reflect on as well.
