So true and my primary MD resents my knowledge. Crap it's my body. She is not GOD. I keep pinging on her until I get what I want.

Some folks say I should change doctors. If I did, then I would have to break in a new doctor. As long as I'm getting good health care, I'll keep pinging on her. Besides it is better for me to give her a headache then for me to not get good health care.

All the literature I read states that a patient should be knowledgeable about their health.

I don't know about the UK, but in US many precooked and canned foods contain MSG (mono-sodium glutamate). It enhances flavor and it is popular in Asian cuisine, but it is not a nutritional supplement and totally unneeded.

Pretty sure that the conventional obsession with cholesterol levels, which made my doctor place me on statin drugs in my thirties, along with a low fat, high carb diet, resulted in my developing insulin resistance (type II diabetes) in my forties, with the corresponding weight gain and hypertension. So I don't take the statins, more harm than good (in fact, there is no good to taking statins unless if you already had a heart attack). Doctors no longer treat the symptoms, t hey only treat the blood tests.

Your last comment is definitely true. My husband had 1 blood test that said his cholesterol was exactly at the cut off line for normal. His family doc told him to take statins for this. I told him if he had the presciption filled I would divorce him. Then explained that #1) His doctor should have taken a FASTING blood sample. #2) His doctor should have told him how to cut his cholesterol by controlling his diet first. #3) NO reputable doctor would put a patient on a statin without first trying #1 and 2, and especially would not if the lab number was normal. This physician is LAZY! Plus he puts his patients on unnecessary meds then tells them to come back time after time to be re-checked. He is a money-maker, not a doctor.

That is right. I am in the medical field and I will ABSOLUTELY say that people must be pro-active in their healthcare. If you question the doctors techniques, then say so. Doctors are human as well, they are NOT GOD! Sometimes we do know more about our bodies than anyone else.

Thing is, cholesterol is NOT bad. It is a good thing, but when present in high quantities and at the wrong balance is indicative of another problem. Instead of lowering the cholesterol numbers why not try and found out what's causing them to be high?

Remember: 50% of all people who suffer from heart attacks have high cholesterol. But then that means that the other 50% DON'T!

Lowering cholesterol levels is like killing the canary in the coal mine because every time it sings some miner dies of asphyxiation.

Do you get tired at night? Does your stomach ache when you haven't had anything to eat or drink for a long time? Does your skin leak water when you move about vigorously? Has anyone in your family tree ever died? Do you live within 20 miles of a fire station? Do you drink water?

If to answered yes to all tees questions, you may be suffering from hydrocraniorectal inversion syndrome. We have discovered that fire hydrants are actually connected to the drinking water lines in all jurisdictions across the country. When the hydrants are used, chemicals from the hoses leech into the water lines where it stays until you drink it. These chemicals are not filtered out by any filter currently available by any technology known to man.

Because this has been going on or over a century, people all over the country have DIED. Yes, you probably know someone or of someone who has DIED! I bet they drank water, too!

Unfortunately, this tainted water is the most addictive poison on Earth. Just one sip is enough to hook you for life!! Want proof? Try going just a day without drinking any liquid that contains WATER. Symptoms of water withdrawal symptom include biological effects commonly known as thirst. In fact, the term thrust was devised by big water. It is a combination of THIRd (H2O has three molecules!) and STupid (because we are stupid for drinking that poison).

I was at a convention earlier this year presenting my conclusions and I told the audience: do you get tired at night, loose your ability to see in color at night, go blind when there is no light, get tired feet when you stand for sixty hours straight, get headaches when you bang your head repeatedly on the concrete, does your skin leak when you exercise or even when standing around doing nothing in 100 degree heat, and get thirsty when you haven't had anything to drink or over a day? Several members of the audience stood up and said, "hey! I have that. Is it reversible?" And I said, "sit down you stupid wank and stop interrupting me you sorry sack of shiitake mushrooms! Buy my book and I'll tell you everything you need to know."

Spread the word. Oh, and oh yeah. Aspartame is evil because it has to be dissolved in (wait for it....wait........) WATER!!!!!!

The point is, his really wasn't high. He didn't get the labs done while fasting. He had never had it be high in the past, and never has been after that one incident. His doctor was too lazy to look at his records and realize this.

Right on. But corn alone, in the form of corn solids, is filling us up on empty calories.

And lets not ignore soy. We are being dangerously over soyed. Corn and soy: cheap, cheap, cheap. But expensive in the long run.

It's also my understanding that soy acts as a psuedo-estrogen which imbalances the male hormonal system and gives men the same female-like traits as declining testosterone does (actually it's increased estrogen levels becoming balanced with the current level of testosterone - it doesn't decrease testosterone for you) which is man boobs, enlarged belly you just can't get rid of with exercise, declining sexual performance and desire, hair loss, lethargy, etc.

And estrogen-like hormones injected into cattle to cause them to grow fatter and heavier are also carried over to us humans as pseudo-estrogen when we eat red meat. For men it is the same effect as soy described above, for women it can mean excess estrogen in the progesterone-estrogen-testosterone balance of the female body which leads to cancer in many women just like direct prescription estrogen-only hormone therapy does.

Right on. But soy is so thoroughly entrenched in the national psyche as being healthy that, when you share this, many people look at you like you are a nut.

That's why when I was trying about 10 years ago to part time sell all natural products like supplements, liquid minerals, carcinogen-free natural fingernail polishes, sodium lauryl sulfate-free shampoos and toothpastes, propylene glycol-free hair conditioners, progesterone for women, etc., people would seem excited about saving themselves from disastrous health issues while you're telling them facts and handing them sheets detailing the situations with references to studies that had been done. But then after their first purchase when they didn't feel an eternal life miracle happen instantly the excitement wore off and they go back to the same old crap. They apparently thought that one bottle or one month of toxin removal was going to solve 40 years of harming themselves. The products I had weren't very expensive but you can only lead a horse to water, not make it drink.

And there are those who think you're selling Amway soap or Jehovah Witness pamphlets and just want you gone ASAP when you talk about this stuff in general conversation. You just talk to them with no sales intentions and they stare into space and shut you off because they don't want to hear about it.

I actually turned an ADHD-afflicted 9 year old boy from running around the school class room like he was wild to sitting at his desk actually reading like the other kids after just two weeks of liquid minerals. His mother was so thankful the bottle she bought for $18 (that lasted for a month) had solved his problem. She bought a second bottle and then never bought again. Knowing the family, I also know she didn't buy it anywhere else and let the kid go back to his old ADHD ways.

Oh well...

Has any of this been verified? Definitely worth reading but would like substantiation of the facts before being convinced any of this is true. Worth reading and then checking it out.

Yes! These facts have been verified in thousands of articles. You'll never hear about this thru the main media because almost every form of the media is controlled.
You don't bite the hand that feeds you. Monsano which is the mother of GMO which is the worse thing that has ever happened to crops, worldwide, is also nothing new.

If yu have any doubts about deadly sweetners simply Google it.
