CS6, File\Open As, Camera Raw (.NEF, .CR2, etc.), use light and shadow sliders to lighten shadows, moved Clarity slider to left to soften image, Open Image, Image\Adjustments\Hue/Saturation, go to yellows, de-saturate, but make brighter, go to reds, de-saturate but make brighter, used Spot Healing Brush to blend in cheek tones.

I like that Bo brought their faces out of the shadows but really like the way you have this framed/cropped. The conspiracy is obvious.

This just may be my iPad but Bobs correction put a lot of green in their hair.

Hi Bob! Thank you for walking through how you did your magic! I am just barely starting to get my feet wet in Photoshop - now I'm more motivated than ever!

Thank you for looking luvmypets! I love the pets you post! Do you use photoshop to edit them?

Thank you for looking at my posts! I haven't mastered photoshop either so believe it or not I use Windows Live Gallery. I have downloaded Picasa and it seems close to Live Gallery. I've just gotten Scott Kelby's book on Elements 10. Now if I can just find the time to sit down and start working with it.

I guess you and I have some work ahead of us to learn photoshop. :)

Whew! luvmypets was correct ..... I hadn't really noticed the green cast in the hair until she mentioned it. In for a little, in for a lot. Ergo, I used Hue/Saturation to desaturate only the green channel, then used NIKSoftware's Color Efex Pro 4's White Neutralizer filter to ameliorate some of the effect. While I didn't get it all, it's not quite as noticeable as before.

Love the shot, Kerry! Bob gave you a good workflow, so I won't dabble any further, but there are other things you can do here as well, if you want. But regardless, a terrific shot!

That helped!! Good work Bob! I really like this picture! If it were one of my friends I'd print it x 3. 1 for each!!
