Good Grief...

If you think about the pic that was presented.. the "Most Interesting Man in the World", he is saying NOTHING that would REMOTELY be tied with racism, so why do libs always bring UP racism when Obama is brought into the conversations? The MIMITW is referring to those working the windows of a Burger King or McDonald's that think their menial jobs are deserved of $10 - $15 an hour! Now that is A Obama supporter's way of thinking! With a serving of Pelosi to go with it!

Let me see.......

Here is a joke that "I" heard in the 70's (same theme)

A physicist asks "why it works"

An Engineer asks "how it works"

And a liberal arts major asks "Would you like fries with that?"

Richard, If you think for one minute that we disagree with Obama's methods because of his color, then "You are the Racist"

I don't see color, I see bad policies.

Cannot agree or disagree until I see your list of bad policies.

"I" see them as bad policies. It's extremely possible that you do not. That is 100% fine with me. The ability to freely disagree without fear of retribution was just one of the the many things that made our country so great. That people do not need to agree, and that people were not afraid to present a view that was contrary to the current administration.

For me, it's ALWAYS about policy. I also dislike Pelosi, Reid, Holder, Boxer, Feinstein, Hillary and the rest of them that seem to be doing more and more to make my life harder, NOT easier. My Gov. Jerry Brown has made some "reasonable" decisions, like taking taxpayer funded cellphones away from state employees. But, he's also "gone off the reservation" by signing a law that allows elementary kids with "gender identity" issues to use the restroom of the gender they prefer.... ???

I try to have "reasoned" discussions and find that when people use generalizations, insult the character of the speaker, use profanity or even throw down the race card, it's usually a reliable indication that they have no reasonable argument.

In other words, they refuse to let the facts get in the way of their beliefs.

Why?

Maybe they don't want to have to look in the mirror and admit that they were wrong in their original beliefs. I can't say for sure.

So, if anyone can justify that the economy is getting "better" even though the facts show that the number of people who are actually employed is lower now even though the population is increasing, that the "true" unemployment rate including those that are no longer on unemployment is really over 12%, that 27% of parents have kids aged 21 - 40 living at home with them, that roughly 80% of jobs created this year are part time and not full time jobs, that household incomes are down overall and that consumer prices are up, then I am more than willing to listen and consider and make my counterpoints.

But, when a person uses one of the tactics described above, I am no longer interested in their opinion and they have no credibility as far as I'm concerned.

My 2 cents...

Phil

And please don't bother to deny it, your prior words tell us all we need to know.

I was called for jury duty some twenty years ago. The pool was about 25 or 30 people, and three of us were combat veterans from Vietnam. I guarantee that if you spend a year under that kind of tension and in those kind of conditions, you say a lot of things that you wouldn't say in polite society.

Anyway, the defendant in this case was black. I was the first of the three Vietnam vets to be interviewed by the attorneys and one of the defense lawyers asked me if I had ever used the "N" word. I replied honestly, saying that I was in Vietnam and we said a lot of things there that we weren't proud of. When it came time to interview the second vet, the lawyer asked the same question and he gave a similar answer. When the third vet was asked the same question, he said "no", and the attorney basically called him a liar.

As it happened, none of the three of us were selected for the jury. I am not racist, and I don't believe that the other two vets were either. I'm also glad that I wasn't selected because the trial went on for almost two weeks. It definitely showed me, though, how irrational people can become over this politically correct crap. When some dimwit pulls the race card out like this I am pretty sure that he is coming from a position of prejudiced misinformation.

This makes an assumption about people who work at lower economic jobs. Richard, you may actually be the racist in this matter.
