Double ditto on the Topaz labs software. I got the whole bundle. There isn't anything like it anywhere, as far as I am concerned.

Glad I can help. This is an awesome resource for anyone who uses Elements! You will definitely enjoy looking through all of the projects, old and new!

I agree as well -- I love Topaz!
To all TOPAZ LABS users - I see a bunch of "plug-ins" (whatever that means) on
http://www.topazlabs.comWhich are your favorite plug-ins?

To all users of both PSE-10 and CS5:
I just purchased PS Elements 10, so I have no experience. My question: If & when I "graduate" to a full PhotoShop version, are most of the functions (such as memorized shortcuts) the same, like an upgrade, or more like two completely different programs?
You can stick with PSE 10 for a long, long time before you will (probably) feel the need to "graduate." I have PSE 9 and CS5 and I honestly use PSE 9 most of the time. CS5 is very powerful, but until you spend months getting used to it, it is not what I consider "user friendly." Just my opinion.
This is about the Topaz plug-ins.You can try them free for 30 days to see which ones suit you. They are all really good, depending on what you need. I think I use "Detail" (the only thing I found that can bring out the detail and sharpness without artifacts or lines around the images), and "Adjust" the most. But each one has it's place and if you get the bundle (plus it's easy to get a 15% off or more coupon code by googling Topaz coupon), you end up getting them for less than 1/2 price. Watch some of the tutorials on Youtube. They also have archived Webinars on there. Having said all of that, everyone is different and some folks just like the purity of what they have captured with their camera. I understand that, but I really enjoy doing what these plug-ins can do to a photo.
I Think topaz detail would interest you with all the micro you do. 6 ways to sharpen. From micro adjustments to large. Not just 1 sharp tool. go to topaz labs and watch the tutorial on detail.
