I think your original is a bit muddy and the enhanced version seems to have an abundance of noise in addition to the halo effect being visible.

I do, however, think the third photo is very well done and that would be my choice.

Thanks for the advice and help Esther!

You're welcome!
Now for wishing that "levels" were the same in all programs, the numbers you used resulted in about the same lightening of the image as mine ;-))

I like #3, the 2nd photo has a halo.

I took a photo in DC of the capital. It's one of my favorites that I took; however while I really like the original, I like the enhanced version as well. I like the way the capital looks but I hate the sky. I was wanting to get some opinions of the two images and any input from some others on the site. Would you change anything, if so what?

Thanks for looking and commenting.
Eric

I wanted to say thanks to everyone who stopped by to comment on my photo. It's nice to see other peoples perspective's on what they like about a photo and what they dislike. That helped me make the third photo which I really like, plus I was able to go back and modify the 2nd photo and work on eliminating the halo around the capital. Cheers!

Only my opinion and I'm no expert. #1 looks a bit flat, #2 overcooked, #3 not far off. If the building in #3 could have a little of the colouration of the building in #2 that would do it for me.
