If you go under alienskin.com it is a program called image doctor. It has several different techniques and so many awesome things you will want to down load and all simple to use. LOVE IT!!! LOVE IT!! especially JPEG. repair!

Content aware is ok. It can leave some artifacts though.

Panorama in Photoshop? I know there is a photomerge, but I haven't found any panorama command. Where might I find this?

You can also do it with a really dark ND filter as well, and requires no PP.

For PS to do this, you the extended version, which supports stacks.
It will do it automatically, but you can do the same thing with layer masks.
Load the images into layers, and hide/reveal what you want with layer masks.
