Lovely shots from Bahrain, well composed and exposed. The boat is not abandoned, just waiting for rain. Maybe that's the owner's solution to a boat being a "hole in the water to pour money into."

I remember Bahrain from 30 years ago; there really was very little there but a souk (market place), lots of beach and sand, sand, sand everywhere. My dad worked for ALBA (if it's still there). I loved your photos - brought back memories.

Thanks Rivernan . I'm just learning about night shots and I'm glad that the learning is being done in some interesting places . I hope I can get better as time passes .

I didn't go to an Academy but I've been doing this for 34 yrs now . What is your fathers name if you dont mind telling me . I may know him . Thanks for looking at my photos !!!

Thanks Kevin !! I don't think Bahrain is as strict these days . Looked like a normal place and seemed like the bars never closed . Where I stayed had 3 bars ,2 closed at 2 am and 1 closed at 5 am .

Thanks Catgirl . Even though I was born in Dundee I didn't know of Largs until I spent a month there . Never heard of it . It was a real nice place !!
