PVA [poly vinyl acetate] is the latex in acrylic latex paint.
How about green as in green screen, then in PP you can make it any color or whatever you want.

The problem with that is making sure that the green light reflected off the background doesn't come back onto the subject giving a weird color cast.
Just as easy to do a 'high-key' shot with a blown out white background
black every time!

I am looking to Doug. The D300s is getting close to it's shutter count. But I will get the D400 if it comes out and looks good or go with another D300s. I love this camera for the build. I am hard on my camera. It goes where ever I do.:):)

I'll have to keep an eye out for the D400 as you say, if it comes out, I agree the d300's are/were work horses.
C, pva is low cost paint for sealing new drywall. Any paint store has it. It's probably $50 for 5 gallon bucket. It has no sheen and is whitish in color. Mainly it's inexpensive.
Any paint store will know what PVA is. Hope this helps. SS
I would paint the ceiling white for the bounce, The walls?
Black, white, grey or green seems to be the conclusion from the comments here. Instead of painting you could set up some curtains for background, I am sure you can buy them as cheap as paint and tools.
