Did you perform the download more than 1 time?

No, not on the same drive. I put them on my computer and on my external hard drive, with the same results...duplication!
Weird.

For the first time today, I tried shooting RAW. Actually, what I did was shoot RAW + Large (fine) with my Canon Rebel T3i.

But something is amiss. There are two files per shot, but they are both jpegs and exactly the same size.

When I open them with Paint Shop Pro X4, neither one opens in RAW lab, just the regular editing space.

Is there some kind of defect in the camera's software perhaps? Anyone heard anything along that line? Or is there some special way to open RAW lab that I can't find?

Hi, in Photoshop if you go to "File" and then scroll down to "preferences" you can set all your pics to be edited in RAW mode or jpeg, perhaps you could try it with Paint Shop Pro X4.

Ok, next thing you could try is to simply connect to the computer and when prompted use "Windows" to transfer your RAW files. I hope this works for you. It says, "Installing this package will allow supported RAW camera files to be viewable in Windows Explorer." You can download the "Windows" RAW viewer and codec pack here :-
