Why would a city dweller need to know about cattle guards or bush hogs or balers or any other farm stuff? The country people don't need to know what the subway schedule is. People know what they need to know. That isn't a bad thing even though some people try to make it seem so.

Do you really think I did not know what you where referring to.
But I will be serious for a change and say I would never live where I needed to use a subway to get around.
That is ok for others but not for me I hate the big city.

Every Congress since probably the first one agreed to maintain and improve the infrastructure of the nation.

Laugh if you will. I grew up on western Kansas, and those things were all over the place. However, taking our travel trailer from California back to Colorado to visit wife's relatives, we overnighted in Lovelock Nevada. As we set up the trailer, connected up the water, plugged in the power, I heard a "Bloop Bloop" noise.

Sounded like it was coming from the back of the trailer, where the water pump was. Check it out, nope, not the water pump. Heard it again. "Bloop Bloop".

Looked around the RV park, quite a few people looking around, behind, underneath their rigs. Finally gave, had a drink, dinner, and went to bed. All night long. "Bloop Bloop".

Next morning, hooked up the rig, made our coffee, got in the pick up, turned right out of the RV park onto the access road to the highway. "Bloop Bloop" as we went across the cattle guard.

My wife and I looked at each other, and howled with laughter.

Wake up ole sarge. What else is on those bills that the congress is turning down? Put no pork on the bill and see what happens. And what about the funding? is oubummer going to give up his give away planes to fund those programes. Get your head out of the sand and see how the goverment works. Or should I say dosent work. I ask you again how can you run a busness or a goverment spending more than you take in??

Ole sarg you only see whats wrong with one side. Start looking at both sides and get the whole picture. They are both rotton through and through. They both lie to the american people, they both take bribes from thr lobbyest. Both sides have very low morles.We need somebody in there that our youth can look up to and not people that the young can say its ok for them to lie and act the way they do so I guess its ok. Just one indisgerstion and they should be OUT. Look the way they worship Bill (I didnt have sex with that girl) Clinton. Or Weener Or any other low life on both sides. They are not very good roll modles for our young people. Its bad enough that the TV and the films of today have lowerd the standerds of this country. Im 83 and have seen a lot in my day but never as bad as it is today. You just cant keep supporting the way our goverment it spending more than they take in. Is there no more common sence left on eather side. Blame them all you want. they deserve it but blame both sides.
