Wow! Great pics. I love taking shots of sunsets on the water as well. I can see from yours what I'm doing wrong:) I'm learning so much from seeing what others do well. Thanks for posting these.

I was hoping you wouldn't notice ...just kidding, and your so right Photophly, I had to do so much to this pic to make it somewhat interesting, cropping, contrast ect. this is the best I could do, not a great job but I liked the subject.

Thanks gmccaleb, and for sure its trial and error, some good and some not so good but it sure is fun when you come up with a good one, there is so much talent on this site we can't help but learn...if we listen.

Well Eric I wonder sometimes when I have a neat photo subject wise but poor in quality should I post it at all. We all know pretty much when we see our photo does it make the grade.

Thanks Russ , Leaving for work I looked down the end of the street and saw these colors so I ran back in grabbed my camera walked down and took this one, I can only imagine how many of these I missed...very peaceful

I think they are nice. I havent been to the area in so long and it reminds me of past visits. I think you were pretty lucky to catch the color...sometimes I have run back in only to find the light has changed when I come back out.

Hi Bgenie, Here is the original on #1 and I cropped #2 not sure what to do to improve iether one.
