Yes it is an issue Jerry. I've not had any real problems with it but as I understand it, whether a long exposure still or video the same happens... the sensor is working with all those billions of electrons running through it... same problem.
I shoot video in 10, 15 and 20 second segments because I edit - an old television technique I learned during my career in that business. Much easier to tell a story with an editor.
