I like it. I don't like you to say just having fun. I consider abstraction a fine art just like any other. That is the trouble in America today, not enough respect for artists, thinking they are bufoons just having fun instead of doing real work to make real products to make real money (and tear up the environment doing it). If you look at places like DC, New York (and foreign cities in general like London, Paris, even the new oil rich middle eastern places like Dubai), these cities are alive with wonder because of art, not dead like Baltimore (where I live) and most of the US. I do wonder if these are digital paintings or altered photographs. I think if they where done in high resolution and printed good, they could sell in the right gallery. I am thinking they would even look good very large. My only criticism is that they look a little indistinct, like not enough pixels, or maybe too much jpeg.

I appreciate your input. I wish I could find "the right gallery". They are jpg out of the camera with the color "amplified". No siginificant post manipulation. I did have some printed 11X16, I think most could easily go 24X36. The camera is 14mp. As for me, I'm no artist. Just a retired old geezer playing around filling in my time.

Thanks again for your comments.

14 megapixels should be enough. Some of the samples have very good resolution. I am curious how they were made, do you do closeups of textured surfaces? One of them looks like maybe a macro photograph of peeling paint. The rest still have me mystified. A macro photograph with amplified color? The fact that there are no outlines leads me to the macro theory, the camera is too close to show the outline of the object.
