Both parties have more than their share of liars, cheats and scumbags. Both parties will mislead and misinform the voter. So it comes down to people, if a man/woman is a liar or a cheat or a thief it really doesn’t matter which party they’re affiliated with. You can defend things like policy positions and effort but how do you defend lying and cheating? Bill Clinton is a good example, I believe he tried really hard to be a good President and I believe he loves America but he has one burning issue that gets in his way and that’s his sexual appetite. He has such an issue with his sex drive that it spills over into the rest of his life. I didn’t agree with Clinton politically but I do believe he tried very hard and I also believe his wife is a fanatical control freak that probably did him more harm than good (personal opinion, yours may differ). If you want to defend policy or program that’s great but when you start defending lying and cheating you’re saying more about yourself than you probably want to say. One can become so defensive that one loses all ability to think objectively and that’s the end of one’s credibility.

What the hell are you talking about RixPix you do the exact same thing on a daily basis right here on the hog. My God how hypocritical or self indulgent can one man be. By the way I didn't look at your link, you and ole sarge are far too predictable and will post a flat out lie if it will enhance your position.

I agree with you, liberals feel their position is the only one!! Detroit is a good example of democrats and the welfare state running over!!

How is that a man can lie about something that has nothing to do with the execution of his duties (Clinton) and be impeached and a man can lie to enhance his political position and do harm to his state and incur no consequence?

Well Rix, this is probably the best political post I have seen you make, you sourced it using a source that republican's can hardly say is left leaning, and you didn't throw in any of your silly cartoons.

First you need to read the article again, he didn't lie but did play with the policy levels which produced some misleading results. Here's where you and I part company, I would never vote for this guy, you on the other hand if he were a Democrat you'd be defending him for all you're worth. I think this guy is an ass probably not to the level of impeachment but enough to lose my respect and vote. I've said on many occasions on the forum that I disliked Bush the younger and would not vote for him. Tell me RixPix when is the last time you were disenchanted with a liberal anything?
First you need to read the article again, he didn'... (show quote)

How dare you assume that I would defend this person or even justify his actions they way you have.

I am extremely disenchanted with the Affordable Care Act. It is bullshit legislation that let the insurance companies hold sway over everyone's personal finances. I will not rest until the entire health insurance system is replaced with a not-for-profit service industry single-payer system.

Come on RixPix this just isn't that hard. Read it again, I didn't say you were defending him. I said you'd defend the liberals. "The way I have"??? You read that post and say I'm defending him? You just make shit up as you go, my god Rix everyone can read the post and then read your response do you just enjoy making yourself look silly?

I'm not condoning the man lying, I hate lying no matter what the source, but luckily for both him and you, lying is not a crime. Only lying while under oath (like Clinton did) does it rise to a crime. So lucky for you and him you're both free to walk about spewing your lies with impunity.

Ok heyrob....now I'm confused. I was answering rixpix....why did you quote /answer me? I believe we are of the same mind in this as well as most political issues. I was pissed Clinton got away with what he got away with!

If lying were reason to remove a politician from his office I think it clear that we could start with president Obama and quickly follow with Reid and then O'Connell... they all lie and Rix knows this, and none lie more than does the president and Reid. Oops, seems that I had forgotten Pelosi, maybe we could start with her and then the president.

Please...that was the aim of Obama Care to begin with. Create a system that uses private insurance companies that makes the cost skyrocket and the quality of care plummit. Then the left will say "See? We can trust healthcare to the private sector. The only way to fix this is the government taking over all healthcare via single payer."

If you believe Obamaa Care is a private sector system or a free market solution...I have some prime beach front property for you here in Phoenix!

Wow almost 15 years later and you still don't understand why Clinton was impeached. Here are the facts, Bill Clinton was sued for sexual harassment by a former subordinate. He was subpoenaed to testify under oath in civil court. He then proceeded to lie in that testimony, that's called perjury, and perjury is a felony. Now the Constitution, Article II, Section 4 says "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Since perjury is a felony, and a felony is a high crime, that is why he was impeached, unfortunately he wasn't convicted. And you liberals have cried about him being impeached because he had sex ever since, but people like you are what I like to call WRONG!
Wow almost 15 years later and you still don't unde... (show quote)

For BONKING the office girl??? That would put the nation at risk!!! Most of the remainder of Government could well be doing it too.

He committed a felony, I don't give a rats a$$ why he did it, the fact is that he broke the law and he was charged for it. Lucky for him he wasn't convicted, but even the president is not above the law. If he got stealing a candy bar, would you say "It was only candy" your argument is the same stupid reply his supporters have whined about for 15 years, it wasn't about sex, it was about lying under oath.

Funny how it was okay for Clinton lie his ass off but Nixon should have been hanged. Of course if you are a conservative Nixon was only reacting to the acts of others and it wasn't his fault but Clinton should be hanged. My point is maybe we ALL should start reacting to behavior instead of party affiliation.
