Of course I likely don't need to tell you this but they're looking to catch an idiot and apparently they do or they would stop doing that. You may see the same merchant offering the same thing at 3 or 4 different prices. Part of it is that they are flooding the market and creating their own competition. With all the meaningless idle talk about "you get what you pay for," apparently there are enough un-knowledgeable people willing to pay more to make it worth the seller's time to jack the price up like that. Funny stuff!!!

I just ordered the SX50 last nite after reading yesterday's threads about the wonderful quality photos this camera can put out...I have a CanonT3 that I love but am always switching lenses which leads to lots of exposure to dust particles inside camera and lens so i'm looking forward to the all in one lightweight Canon! I ordered a whole kit with extra batt pack and few other accessories and a vivitar filter set and came to about $445...not bad...sounds like it is becoming quite a popular camera

I went on line Sunday & checked their prices & it was 329.00 but yesterday when I checked it was 369.00 like Amazon. They said it was a one day sale !

I have a Panasonic Lumix fx 100 as well as the Canon SX50. I find the Panasonic Lumix more user friendly .
I believe that Panasonic now have the Panasonic 70 out as well. I think I will be selling my Canon in order to buy the Panasonic 70.

I got one at best buy for $369...best price I could find...haven't used it yet because I only got it Tuesday!
