Young helper - interested in learning photography - small pay rate - gets to use good equip - possible (Camera) as reward for help at end of need, but if you choose properly you will be the one to learn.

With the weather in January & February being bad and me being likewise then going into hospital for most of March/April/ and
making an unscheduled visit to A&E then having a major op in June, like yourself i have not been able to go out and amaze the photographic community with my skill or lack of it, I have
had to have patience and that is what you will need as well or as been suggested get a P & S and slum it for a while.
