If he is a poor performing president making some good decisions, why isn't he at least an average president?

Maybe just because he's Black???

I believe that is the case for much, but not all of the hatred. They won't admit it, but it is evident.

It's not his color, it's his politics

I'm not ignoring facts. I'm remembering Bombing Cambodia, for example.

Nixon was a bad man who did very many bad, bad things.

He did eventually bring the troops home.

But he was a real slimeball.

Conservatives were blasting him and calling for him to fail even before he took the oath of office in 2009. My brother-in-law is an avowed racist and admits that is why he hates him.

The rate is declining, but there are quite a lot of people not counted in that rate as they no longer collect benefits...Don't nit pick info...As for corporations making big profits, yes they are but are not hiring due to unknown consequences of the ACA at this point (among other factors)

As evidenced by the stock market, corporations are making tons of money. They are sitting on some of the biggest profits in history. They need to do the hiring. The unemployment rate is slowly declining, but is far better than the economy losing 700,000 jobs per month in the last months of Bush.

Sure, you will find people who detest him because of his color.Just as you will find may more people who love him simply because of his color....I could give a flying fXXk about his color. I don't like his politics...

Counting the unemployed is done the same as it always has. Corporations started their practice of not replacing employees who quit before the ACA was considered.

Gee, you think that was due to the recession?...Or are you saying they had record profits back then too?

But, the number of long term unemployed has never been as great as it is now...

I don't care what his color is either. I like some of his policies and dislike others. But, he is the victim of many lies and distortions on the internet which are believed by gullible people.
If all of these charges were true, I'd dislike him too.

And that's Obama's fault ? The GOP opposes everything he tries to do to spur the economy.

The same could have been said of Romney or most anyone else in politics. To vilify a person is disingenuous, but people on both sides are guilty of doing so. To come down on one side consistently is simply bigoted...I guess we all share that blame...

When it involves spending more money, rightly so...It's not the man, it's his policies...Where were those "shovel ready" jobs before...They never existed, at least not to the extent he claimed...
