From The Borowitz Report:

Remember, people, it's satire. That means it's made up. Made up means it's not true. It's just funny.

The remarks are satire but he is calling it quits, said he will not run for a fourth term. This part is no satire, he is planning on running for President in 16. We always need some way to get some humor into the political picture, we can all laughingly say Thanks for the memories Rick.

He don't care, it's not his money being wasted.

Picture this nightmare: Rick Perry is elected president, and Sarah Palin is his VP. He's assassinated, and she becomes president. The apocalypse would be at hand.

That the political left-wing STILL considers Sarah Palin such a threat speaks well of her character and political acumen. I suspect Sarah accepts it as a complement.
I think we could do worse than Rick Perry for president, but I also think we could do better.

I'm willing to bet that there isn't a single Democrat who sees Sarah Palin as a threat. She is a quitter, a complete joke, a farce, a tireless self promoter who will only do what will make her the most money. Every Democrat in the country would jump for joy if she ever became the Republican nominee. Believe me, we are not afraid of her. We welcome her with open arms to run for ANY office, including dog catcher.

We could make her Director of Tourism since she knows where Russia is.

I wonder if she has been to all 57 states like Obama has?
