I just took my flash off the camera, held it about an inch higher than the hot shoe and tilted the flash and it placed the softbox right at the rim of my lens. Okay. Gym has the same camera and flash I have and he did tell me which off-camera flash cord he uses and I received mine from B&H today, so at least I have that part. I was just looking through the B&H catalogue and my mind is swimming so I'm going to bed and will re-think what I have and what I need later. Thanks and good night, Susan
