When you go online you can find horror stories for every online dealer, even the most respected ones. While you may take pause when you see them, sometimes a single bad experience can spawn 15 or 20 online comments from the same person. Sometimes you will even see negative comments from people who weren't even customers themselves. If you yourself felt stung, its easy to buy into the negativity. This is not to say Abe's is perfect. One of the advantages of this forum is that we number among our members representatives of several mail order firms (the most prevalent example is Helen Oster of Adorama; B&H is also represented). If you have a problem with a mail order company, they can solve the problem quickly. I am going to start a thread in Links & Resources asking all such representatives to list themselves as representatives of their respective companies so that we can bookmark the thread for ready reference.

Yes, I know Helen from Photography-on-the- Net. She has been very helpful with matters pertaining to Adorama. Adorama and B&H are probably the best and most respected online vendors.

Well, from the activity I seen in the past 20+ hours, don't hold your breath.
