And when he says "trust me" he really means I'm going to screw the entire nation!

Common, Bvm, that's not right. I am not sure how to say it better, but "screw the entire nation" is a gross understatement. ;-)

In my most quiet and objective place, I never hear anything leading me to believe he has much respect or love for this country. We are all, to some degree, effected by what we obsorb in childhood. By all accounts he was raised in an environment filled by ppl who disliked this country and its culture then chose to attend a church, for years, whose pastor clearly hated America. He could not have turned out any differently than he is.

I was quietly sitting in the background reading the posts, not really motivated to enter the fray. But when I read and digested your post I realized that you have given the most valid opinion on Obama's lack of respect for America that I have ever come across. How very true --- " He could not have turned out any differently than he is." My hat is off to you...EXCELLENT post.

That is a very well thought out and written commentary.

Do these idiots just make this stuff up?? Since when, in American politics, is it standard practice to respond to ones's opponents with scurrilous insults rather than reasoned alternative proposals. Taft, Dirksen and Rockefeller never behaved this way, why do you folks do so?

Sometimes I wonder what's in the "Tea" they're all drinking...

She probably read his so-called "books"! The ones who talk about truth and balance only want their "truth and balance" to be heard or seen. If you were against GW you were a great hero, if you are against B Hussein O, you are the worst kind of sicko. Too many heads in the sand for us to survive.
