Is the Photive brand replacement battery the one I listed?

I just checked and it is a 1200 mah, yes. I wonder if mine is defective? I know I was surprised when first charge took less than 2 hours. The 1200 non-Canon brand battery I bought as spare for my T3i is longer-lasting.

Yummy! If you buy a lot from Amazon, Prime membership pays for itself very quickly.

I had the Prime trial version. I didn't renew the membership because I usually configure my orders to get free shipping.

Yummy!? Are you okay Jerry? The toy is made of wire and cardboard.
:P

Have a good one!

See? You can't judge an item by appearances.

I am looking at ordering the Camera as well. Need some advice on the batteries and remote shutter release. I have the Canon T3i. Will my wireless remote shutter release for the T3i work on the SX 50 camera? Also are the batteries the same. I have 4 batteries for the T3i. It would be nice not to have to buy these items again for the new camera.

Sounds like your wireless remote shutter release will work with the sx50. See the link

You're welcome.
I "grew up" (that's often been questioned) in NYC and as a kid I spent my summer vacations in Monticello and Ellenville.

Can I use ACR, PSE 11, Faststone, or Picasa instead of the included DPP software to edit cr2 files and then save as a jpg and/or tiff?

Can I transfer files from the SX50 memory card to my PC with the above programs or Nikon Transfer or Windows Explorer?

I'm asking because I'm having a problem with my dvd drive and I already have the above programs installed.
