CS5 - been using PS since before the CS series (maybe version 6?). I use Lightroom for cataloging and minor work. The big jobs go to Photoshop for details. I also use PS for trade show displays.

Arnold you might want to take a look at this. It seems Adobe is changing it's upgrade policy.

I'm just curious to know how many of the folks here use any versions of Photoshop, CS2,3,4, or 5?

To go against the grain, I do not use PS today but am thinking of taking advantage of a current promo to buy 5.5. Cheers.

I have been working with Photoshop since the first version and now work in 5.5. I started using it when the Printing company I worked for went Digital back in the early 90s.

For those feeling industrious and motivated, there are a large number of sites offering mass posting to Adobe for those wishing to have their opinions heard. Kelby wrote a very strong letter pleading the artists case also.
Not trying to redirect or hijack, but rather add to the informed!

Tripsy since I started this post I don't mind you contributing to the conversation. I appreciate the input. You wouldn't happen to have any links to these mass postings would you?

I use CS5. B4 that, it was CS4.
What prompted me to get into Photoshop was having used PSE2, 4, 5, and 7. PSE7 is still installed and I still use it when doing a quick task.

If you wait till next year to update to cs6, you will only be able to go back to cs 5 to update. Otherwise you will have to pay full price...around 600.00. Better to update to cs 5 now for 200.00 and then update to cs6 when it comes out. You will save about 200.00.

Check with Adobe site to make sure I have my numbers right.

Have Cs, CS2, CS3 and Cs5

Sometimes i go back to CS2 as i find the interface easier, but am trying to break myself from that habit and stay with CS5, however, I also use the major plug-ins as it makes my life easier and faster.
