Both Photoshop and JASC Paintshop Pro have "noise reduction" as well as other abilities in their programs. I only know that because I use both of them and have for about 12 years. Each upgrade has gotten better.

Sweety. You have got to create some threads of your stuff. I went to your profile. You are quite talented. I'm posting a composite of some leaves I did with my daughter on monday. Leaves are in the other thread. I thought this thread was dead and gone. THanks for commenting.

I'm afraid I'm very good at some things but don't know a thing about others - lolol so I'm going to be honest in an effort to learn what I want to learn. I have no clue how to make "threads" but I'm willing to learn. The best I know how to do is to add links - like to my Facebook page where I do most of my communication with the people I work with. It's easy and almost everyone can use it. How do I add threads and what exactly to I want to include? Linda

I guess I shouldn't sound so techno geekie. Choose create Topic at the top of the page. It will allow you to choose a file if your on a windows or mac machine(Problems with the IPAD or IPHONE) Add a description in the text box. I make sure my pictures are in jpeg format. Just like you did in your Intro. I might wait till tomorrow night. Its getting late on the east coast. I usually do mine around 6 or 7 eastern. I'm up way to late doing this some time(LOL)

DAMN - it IS later than I thought... I get like this when it comes to art of any kind - lol What is the purpose of a thread? I save all my photos in JPG since is the most commonly accepted at the moment and the size is manageable for most people. Do you also find that to be true?

Thats what this topic your are typing on is -- a thread. I created this thread with create topic. A topic that you create is sometimes referred to as a thread here. Its a more technical term for Topic. Jpegs great but remember it gets down graded to a smaller image when you post. I would just create a smaller jpeg if you know how. Otherwise the way you create your intro pictures is just fine.

So yes jpeg like you did in your intro.

Thanks Horseart. I'll have a better studio shot of her Monday.

You should be proud. A girl that pretty, smart and sweet all mixed into one is so rare. When I was 10, my dad told me "Any little girl can grow up to be a woman. It takes a special one to grow up to be a lady. that's what I want you to be." He was my hero, I couldn't disappoint him. I'm sure you are her hero!

I have and have always had that relationship with her. I always heard a daughter learns from his father how to act and behave. A son does the same with his mother. I have found this to be true. I never understood how much my parents loved me until I had kids of my own.

That will mean more to her in her life than you may ever know....BUT, I made it a point to be sure my dad knew! I'll bet she will too. I'm so happy to see that kind of love and caring between father and daughter. My dad was the best ever!
Bless you both,
Jo
