I had to put this poor guy up in a tree, because Kramer thought he was bringing this new toy home. What is it? I didn't think it looked like a racoon. Maybe it is.

Yep...Winter's getting to me.

Possible a badger? Just a guess from the markings and teeth.

I know, I thought it might be a badger too. That's pretty good for a guy from LA

Was Kramer puzzled when you weren't as pleased as he was at his find?

Ohhh! I warned you too late. It wasn't easy getting that away from Kramer. But I am paying a fortune for non allergenic dog food, and I wasn't going to let him gnaw on that.

I've never heard of anybody or any thing being allergic to badgers (mothers-in-law may be a different matter though).

I think GWR may be on to something - the teeth are a bit of a giveaway.

Kramer is allergic to all animal proteins, and a host of other things. He is on prednisolone, and has to have this specially processed dog food where all the proteins are broken down. Otherwise he breaks out in huge sores, and loses his fur.

I won't take offense to that GRW, since I am not a mother-in-law yet. :)
