-----I just read the Canon SX40 vs SX50 discussion; ...are there other {up to 1000mm capability), 'digitals' that will produce GREAT images, WITHOUT requiring RAW processing???

Panasonic and Fuji also make good superzooms. Fuji is probably going to announce a new 2/3 sensor camera soon to replace the XS1.
