Photo Contest Brain Drain

I really don't understand why folks don't post pictures about the subject of the contest or then don't write anything about the photo... sometimes not even a title.
What is the problem? The rules are clear and if they just want to post their own photos, they can do this in "create new topic".
Every contest has photos with either no connection to the subject, or they're untitled or there is no information.
I know this has been discussed before, but good grief folks...
What is the problem?

There has been some talk of "sorting through" the photos in the contest. But like St3ve said, who is to say how one may "interpret" an image? I agree that untitled photos may cause come confusion, so please, at least explain.

I don't see a problem. You post the rules and if they aren't followed you delete the entry. Simple. Why is it your job to educate people on how to follow instructions?

I don't "post" the rules. I follow them. I'm sorry if I hit a nerve.

Sorry... My apologies. I misunderstood your post. I need to stop posting responses in multiple threads at the same time.

Welcome to my world. I chase the Untitleds (and now the Non-Themed) Entries every week and give them until voting, but then they go.

I don't envy your having to deal with the folks that can't read or follow directions but I guess it's the job of "management". I just had to blow off a little steam about it. Sorry. Won't happen again. :|

Please... If you don't use your voice then why do you have it?

You can and should blow off that kind of steam anytime you see something that isn't right. The only feelings you'll hurt will be the people who aren't following the rules - and maybe they're a little short of feelings anyway - like feeling cooperative or compliant. Go get 'em!

Thank you St3v3M. I need to say what I think more often. It actually felt good.

This topic is one of the primary reasons that I ignore the "WPC" topics, the "Weekly Photo Contest" has too many irrelevant entries and some of them get too high up in the voting!!
