canon or nikon and why?

It's a personal choice. I've had more makes of cameras tha you could imagine.One I loved was the Ricoh. They still make those?In the end i got a Nikon D7000 and could not imagine a better camera. Oh My God! I forgot the D7100.

What I want is a Camera company that would take the best of Nikon and Canon, throw in a little Pentax and Olympus.....now that would be a camera.....

Nikon because it cost $50 less than the equivalent Canon kit when I first purchased it.

I looked in the used equipment ads found a lot of cannon items for sale very little nikon. Why buy a product everyone else wants to get rid of? It works with cars as well if a lot of 2013 xyz are up for sale??.
