Never used the other lenses I took. It's a DX lens and works well. I would rent from lensrental.com or rentglass.com. They're very reasonable. Have fun!

Thanks Jerry! I spent a month in Delhi, so have a hint of what's to come. We are aware of the air and water problems, but I wonder, are hotel pools chlorinated - probably not. We'll be taking a Canon G12 p&s,which may get a lot of use.
