I agree that #2 is good, but then I started scrolling up and noticed the legs on #1.

Hey tainkc... Now i get it. Hmmmmm. You are showing people using all three makes of cameras. Oh BTW, I am a volunteer at the Getty Museum, and we do get an enormous amount of Asian visitors. I have noted (because i use Canon) that most of the cameras the Asian visitors use are Canon and Nikon point and shoot cameras. And of others, about 50/50 use the Nikon or Canon dslr's. But there are not that many sony's.

Interesting.

Interesting about the Japanese and Sonys, versus Rich's point about 'Asians' using Canons and Nikons almost exclusively.

Begs an off-topic question, as regards a post here a month or two back. Our British friends most emphatically do not consider themselves Europeans, even to the point of anger at such insinuation.

Do the Japanese, another island nation, consider themselves as Asians? Or do they react like the British? We are Japanese, first, last, always, and not Asians?

Are the Sony-carrying Japanese reacting adversely to the 'Asian' contingent using Nikons and Canons and showing their own independence?
Interesting about the Japanese and Sonys, versus R... (show quote)
Yep. Sure makes for a can of worms. Rich has had more experience with this. I did a simple, one hour sampling which does not qualify as anything. One of my best friends lives in Guildford and if some one calls him "European", he just wants to kick their teeth in.
