I guess there's a little Looky-Loo in all of us...

This little guy made me smile - a commentary on all of us watchers of life. While I watched him, he watched me and the guy behind him had his binoculars trained on a distant seagull...

C & C please. Is it a keeper? How can I improve the composition and/or post processing. It is cropped a bit and I gave it a bit of an S curve in Aperture 3.

Who's watching, whom?

It is a cute shot. I think your focus is on the chair though and not the bird, I can't tell for sure though from the thumbnail. You also might try dodging just a slight bit on the top of and the right side of his head to see if you can bring out a little more detail.

Country's Mama, thank you! I agree the head is a little dark, I'll try dodging. The focus is on the bird's breast, not his eye... Unfortunately too late for a retake - back in Maine bracing for a whopper of 15-18 inches of snow - again...

You have had a lot of snow this winter. I am praying that Spring hurries up and gets here soon.

That is pretty darned cute and unique!

Thankful once again to have moved westward. Friend from Mass. moved to NC last year. Said Worcester has already had 101" of snow before whatever they are due to receive or are receiving in this one.

Thanks Linda;). Just a wild guess, but was it about this time of year when you decided to leave Maine behind?? Every March, I have a real hard time remembering just why this state has a firm hold on my heart...

Hi Kerry. Can we see the original? And a bigger picture of it too.:):) But a very cool shot. I love this kind of behind the scenes picture.

Don't laugh to hard. But this is the best I could do. But it did bring the bird out a little better.:) I just like to play. One of these days I have to get a real program to play with.:) Thanks for letting me play.:):)

Erv, you gave it just what it needed! The brightness you brought out is perfect for the lightheartedness of the photo.
I uploaded your version into Aperture, but it was a tiny file. Can you tell me your secret?
Thanks!
Kerry
