Has anyone done a comparison of the EOS 6D and the D600? Any recommendation as to which one is better as I am thinking of buying a full frame DSLR.

It's not really a question of which is better. You should compare them by looking at things such as, which has the features that you want, which one feels best in your hands, and which one has the control layout you like. The best thing for you would be to visit a camera shop that has these cameras and try them out. Look at the lens for each and the different accessories. You are buying more than a camera, you are buying into a camera system.

Both cameras are very good. What are you using now? If you have not used DSLRs before, you may be biting off more than you can chew. I don't mean to speak down to you, but $2000 is not small change for most of us.

Most of the differences are relatively small, but iso on the d600 is 100 - 6400 and 6D is 100 to 25600 expandable to 50 - 102400. Noise on the 6D seems to be lower too. See DP Review and Popular Photography reviews

ISO range on the Nikon D600 is expandable to 50-25,600.

Which system do you currently have? That would be part of my decision

It all comes down to, which make of camera you are familiar with. The differences between the two probibly will not sway you one way or the other.

Go to the store and do a test drive. Play with the menus, hold it, and pretend you are on a shoot. Which one feels right to you? Do you have friends invested in one brand versus another? Would you borrow their lenses and vice versa? Canon and Nikon are a choice.
