But first I have to explain what film is. 10 more airports to go. Wish I could find a lab that processes film in Hyderabad.
You should have no problem passing your film around the scanners. Ask for a supervisor if necessary.
Once you get into the quick sand of experimentation it is very difficult to work back to the beginning. Again, using the reset buttons (those with a green dot next to them) press them both at the same time and hold them down for 4-5 seconds. After that you should reset the ISO (I venture to say about 200) and to RAW files. If you have two SD cards set the top (1) to RAW and the bottom (2) to JPEG. Lastly, set your dial to AUTO. This should get you at least 90% success. Save the fiddling for when you get home to your back yard. It all takes lots of practice.

Blanche007 is pretty competent, this one was just not making sense so she came here for some advice. She's got a nice assortment of cameras with her including film. Check out some of her older posts.

Lora,
Did you sort out the sub-command dial issue in your own mind? The sub-command dial doesn't do anything in P mode unless you reverse the functions of the two command dials in the menus. The main command dial changes the shutter speed and aperture to retain the camera determined exposure.
