I have the exact same gear set up as mentioned below. I could not agree more with Swartfort.

I can speak on the Nikor af-s 70-300 4.5-5.6 ED VR G. I have it on my entry level D3400 and am very pleased with the results. Even with my limited (vs d7200) AF system, I find it fast enough and with enough reach to do most outdoor sports and urban birding including BIF. When I eventually upgrade to the D7200 I am expecting even better results. If this is a lens you are interested in, look for a used copy. I got mine for $314 from Roberts Camera in Indianapolis, but I have seen it at several reputable used equipement dealers in the same price range.

I have the S9 also. Love the photo quality. As lso have an LG G7 thinQ. Awesome camera system on the LG also.
I am a huge fan of b&w conversion.
Nothing quite like the character of b&w but I do agree in this case that color takes it.

The colored picture in both case. The valley in the background is too dark to make the B&W photos interesting.
I find the photo stunning. Love the black background. Really sharpens the subject. I will say I find the leaves a bit of a distraction.
Oops typo! Big fingers. Jeff
Hi Everyone,
I am new to Uglyhedgehog.com. i have been looking over the site, the photos, the comments etc... Gotta say, this seems to be a great community that I feel privileged to now be part of. I do have a question for anyone who is willing to answer. I have a Nikon D60 and D3400. I am looking for a decent 10 to 20 mm wide angle lense that does not have a fish eye affect. Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance.
