Atlanta Idaho is a historical gold mining town that was once thriving with families and gold minors looking to strike it rich. Located up in the mountains, four hours down a dirt road outside of Boise Idaho there are still many of the original buildings, cabins, old historical buildings, gold mining flues and equipment. There is a Church, two bars and a hand full of residents that still live there. It is a beautiful place where you can enjoy the beauty of nature as well as a bit of history.
On a road trip to Idaho. Nature has so many colors and textures. Add a little bit of man and you have wonderful photo ops.
Thanks everyone. This is very helpful. I am on a tight budget and your expertise in the matter is appreciated.
Four hours up winding dirt roads, way back in the mountains of Idaho, sits a historical mining town called Atlanta Idaho.
I would live to hear from those of you who are experienced in using these editing programs. I am trying decide which one to use.
All good questions. You sound like a teacher. I would probably not paint any of theses photos. I enjoy abstract and color. Crafts and introducing beginning artists to explore their own creativity and potential. The color and texture that I find in nature far exceed anything that I am able to recreate on canvas. I find a whole new world in photographing the textures and color that are all around us. Every day I see shapes and images that I would never be able to recreate. That is why I am so intrigued with photography and a new found medium to create with.

Just posted some new photos. Would love any helpful advise.
Natures colors and textures are endless. Combined them with creations from man and you get endless photo ops. Working on the technical side and would appreciate any comments. These are a few pics from road trips in Idaho.
Hey, I am excited for this new journey that I am on. I have been an artist most of my life, I love color, space, and texture. I spend a lot of time out doors and have been taking pictures of nature verses mans creations for about 2 years. I have an eye for composition and I am hoping to take my photos to the next level and to hone in my technical skills. Lots to learn. Would live any comments or help along the way.
