I am having trouble syncing my computer screen with my printer so that I do not have to save a second copy with a longer exposure adjustment to make the photo look like what I snapped. The photo comes out so much darker that it sometimes loses a lot of detail. Are there other methods other than the one I have been using? My computer is a MacBook Pro and my printer an HP 4500 series. I am using preview to print.
Sunrises and sunsets are my favorite subjects to photograph. I have taken pictures with three brands of cameras over the last twenty years without incident. I have not used filters and have had no issues.
I use more than one editing program on a picture when the occasion calls for it.
13,600ft located amongst many fourteeners in Colorado. Did not try any of the 14'ers due to altitude sickness on the 13'er.
I have used "Background Burner" and had good results with it.
I use 1.5V rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries in my Olympus. They are made with lithium ion polymer so they cannot leak. For more information see unbatteries.com. The ones I use are AA size (AAA are also available). Another advantage of these batteries is that they maintain at a constant 1.5 volts until they are out of juice.
