The wedding is a one and done event. If this is your first time you will miss things. That is why you should stay away from the job. Go as a guess and share your pictures. The job requires two people, patience with the family and friends. You must also be focus on getting good shots of the wedding and guess and not enjoying the event. When they asked for you to do this job they are expecting a lot more then you may realized. Going as a guess and taking plenty of pictures is much better and easier then going as an employee.
I agree with the others. Canon with 70-300. Tripod and patience.
Nice pic of a very
nice plane
I have used them many times. They are, have a good return policy.
The 7200 is by far the better choice. I love mine
Looks like very nice work to me. Be proud of your work. It is good enough.
It will be fun to take some pictures. BUT you are the dad you must be in many of the pictures. Let the pro do his job. Take the Nikon and have some fun. And don't forget to smile when your picture is taken

Have you tried loading direct to the internal hard drive.i have found going from one external drive to another is slow. Each device has it own upload speed. You will only go as fast as the slowest device. With that said, are running other programs while down loading? How much ram do you have? What is the connection on the PC usb2 or usb3?
To find the problem plug card in computer check the speed.
2. Connect camera to PC upload to internal drive. Check the speed. Much sure you are not running other programs.
3. Repeat the process with each device. You will find the slow device.
Good luck
I have done that serval times and never had a problem. However I do try to be more careful.
