Been using the Adobe program for several years and yes, just been updated into my new computer. I figured a way to load the RAW files for editing. Thanks for your input.

I found that attaching the pix to an email they loaded just fine and then saved them in a file for editing. Worked great.

I made a booboo and would like to know if I can recover my pictures.
I forgot to format my SD chip this morning and when I went to edit, I realized I could not open the file in my CS6 editing program. The screen indicated no files available. Well, the card was formatted for my Nikon D7100 and not my D7200 which I was using this morning. The pictures are all visible when the chip is in the D7200 but I am unable to download the file to my computer. The files are all RAW. Is there some way I can edit or just change the files to JPegs or convert the chip so I can print or email the files?

Thanks for the suggestion but I already have 5 cameras and 6 lenses. I'm beginning to think I should make do with what I have as I'm retired and 80 years old. Appreciate your input.

Yes I do noise reduction too in post editing. Also I shoot 1800-2000 ISO. My pictures are acceptable but wanted other opinions. I may consider the 18mm prime lens but would have to use both my camera during programs rather that be changing lenses during programs. Thanks for your input. Last low light shoot was a men's singing group. Lighting was o.k. until the director turned the lights down for visual effect. Not a good thing for us photographing the performance.

I do a lot of pictures during church services and several other programs there in the sanctuary. The incandescent lighting is very poor. I have been using my 17-50mm F/2.8 Tamron lens on my Nikon D7200. This works pretty well except I still have to use a very high ISO. The 17mm part of the lens is still not quite wide enough. I have to shoot without flash so the quality isn't great. I also shoot RAW and post edit with Adobe CS6. Do I need a new lens, a new camera or just deal with the poor quality end results?

I use Image Event. Easy to use and can email albums which is what I like. Also a good off site for my pictures.

I use the contact cleaner after the eraser. No problems after this process for over 5 years now.

Previous reply was referring to the SD chip.

I use the eraser on a good quality pencil and then wipe it clean with my lens brush. Works for me.

I use CS6 and had the same problem until I did an update on the program. Now it works fine.

Best Buy has a good selection of lenses, cameras and other photography items. Sign up for their credit card and purchase an item over about $800 and get free interest for 18 months. I just purchased a new Nikon D7200 for $500 down. Now I have 18 months to pay off the balance with no interest. Check them on line to see if they offer the lens you are looking for.
