Does any one know of a company that will let you buy a lens on payments? I'm looking to buy a $2400 lens, it would be a lot easier to pay $200 a month for a year then to pay it all at once.

If you use a credit card you can pay it off as you wish.

You can get a Amazon card, but the interest will probably add up to twenty percent. Why not save up at least of half of it and put the rest on Credit Card or open an account. In six months you could have it half payed for the interest on the balance would not be that much.

You could try a divorce and hope to get it in the settlement.

Master Card, Visa or American Express. Of course you'd pay 18%+ in interest for the privilege.

Get a CC that dives reward and many give a POP back of 2-5 hundred dollars. That is what I did on several pieces of equipment. Need A+ credit.

What lens are you talking about (dreaming about)? Perhaps we can talk you down to a used one. If a Nikon or Pentax, a vintage one can be had at a bargain on ebay most likely. No AF, but (real) photographers don't need AF.

My wife is usually on board with me for my GAS attacks as long as the rationale makes sense to her. This has included a 4x5" film field camera and two Gitzo Tripods, and some 26 lenses for "35mm" type SLR and DSLR cameras. Not to mention lenses for the view camera! Honesty is the best policy!

I agree with avemal, reagarding using PayPal, 6 months free interest and you can pay as much or as little as you want. It just makes that GAS a little more tolerable.

Pay Pal Credit, used to be called Bill Me Later. Gives me up to 6 months to pay with no interest, you must pay a minimum per month, so instead of $200 a month you would have to pay $400 a month if you wanted to eliminate interest charges. I use this service all the time. 866-528-3733 9-11PM M-F

There's something I've seen online. No, that was "Buy it Now" on ebay.

Maybe some sellers have monthly payment plans.
