My sister is looking for a new phone and has asked for my advice, so I am turning to my fellow hedgehoggers.

She likes using her phone as her camera, so camera quality is going to me her main criteria. She is only considering iPhones.

The iPhone 11 Pro is $400 more than the iPhone 11. It looks like the only difference in the camera is the Pro has an addition zoom lens. Is it worth the extra $400?

Yes- well worth the additional $$; she will not be disappointed

I know - we live on Long Island and rarely go into the city. Truly loved your skyscraper pics and the Statue of Liberty- thanks for posting and sharing them.

thank you!
your scale explanation is very helpful - and for me it is much easier to understand than the triangle; again, thank you!

Thank you ‘LindafromMaine’ - I always enjoy your comments.
Totally agree that when taking a sunset or sunrise turning around is a good move. Happy I remembered to do that or I would not have gotten this sunset shot.

i use my i pencil all the time and love it. you can get an adapter (costs about $7 at amazon) that allows you to charge the pencil directly from the power cord.

Last night I took home the award for fourth place in our camera club's annual year-end competition (Killbuck Photo Guild, Anderson, Indiana). The award is based on our year-long work. We have some pros in our club, so I'm kinda proud of that.

Congratulations 🎊🍾

I am finally comfortable using PSE for post processing of my photos (shot in raw) but after moving all of my photos from iPhoto to PSE Organizer, I am not at all happy with the organizer and have gone back to iPhoto. I am wondering if Lightroom would be a better option. Also, downloading and transferrring from PSE to iPhoto is clunky. Would Lightroom and PSE work well together or would I need to transition to regular Photoshop and if so, how difficult would the learning curve be?

I use Lightroom 5 and Elements - they work together well. Never liked iPhoto.
I did not find it difficult to learn the organizational portion of LR - there are lots of tutorials online.

TJBN - just checked amazon and the first book listed first guide book shown for the Nikon D750 is David Busch's at $19.99 and several other authors in similar price range as stated in an earlier reply.
Don't understand why these books are not showing for you.
