I did the inside passage with Holland America and enjoyed it very much. Very reasonable cost with stops in Ketchikan, Sitka, Juneau, and cruised Tracy's Arm.
I bought mine at Walmart for around $15 works great
I am a Conservative and have no problem with these images
Beautiful shot, where is Horse Creek Park?
I think traveling all over the Carribean would be great. There are many beautiful islands with distinctive landscapes. Many of the islands are covered with homes brightly painted in various colors. The people are wonderful, the weather is perfect, the sunsets and sunrises can't be beat. I traveled all over the Carribean when I was younger, this was before I was interested in photography, now I can't wait to go back and capture the Carribean spirit. Changes in latitude, changes in attitude is a perfect way to sum up the culture. Good luck in whatever you choose to do.
We did a cruise with Holland America in mid August. The weather was excellent, with very little rain. We visited the inside passage, Tracy's Arm was amazing. Also visited Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan, all were beautiful with too much to see and do in such a short time. Stopped in Victoria, British Columbia on our return it also was beautiful. We arrived back in Seattle and spent an extra day enjoying it's sights and sounds, before boarding our flight back to Corryton. Have fun and take lots of pictures.
Beautiful shots. I'm curious why was this place voted the worst place in Britain.
I agree with the Townsend area also though there aren't many good restaurants there. If you can afford it I highly recommend blackberry farms. If your healthy enough Cades Cove closes the roads on Wednesday and Saturdays from 6 AM till 10 AM to all motorized vehicles. Bicycles can be rented at the ranger station. You can bike or walk this 11 mile loop that is mostly flat with gentle rolling hills. I can guarantee you will see wildlife this is an absolutely beautiful area with hundreds of photo ops.
We enjoyed the fortress of the bear I think it was in Ketchikan. I got some great shots of brown bears.
I love this shot. Great colors.
Don't skip the other islands you will pass over on your way down to key west. Stop at each and look around and ask locals for suggestions. I camped at the John c pennekamp and I would highly recommend stopping there for photo ops. Also, I highly recommend stopping at the Islamorado seafood restaurant, after your meal go into the little store next door and grab a frozen chocolate covered key lime pie on a stick. Remember the drive through the keys will surely be the highlight of your trip. Take your time and enjoy.
