Yes, Mary, we are an unfaithful, stiffnecked people here in the United States of America. God has blessed our nation beyond our expectations. Our downward spiral has been one of slow deliberate actions; first by heathens in the general public that do not believe and secondly and most dramatically by our political leaders and law makers and supreme court which have passed laws which directly oppose God's word. Satan is very deceitful and cunning and is at the bottom of all this. Pitifully, we, as a people, including our own government expect God's blessings with no sense of responsibility or faithfulness or duty to uphold His Holy word. I could go on and on but know one thing: There is only one God and it is not Allah. God has a son named Jesus and He is the savior of all who believe in Him. I believe the great apostasy is upon us but like the apostle Paul I know whom I have believed: and am persuaded He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day. Fear not, Mary, and keep the faith if you are a believer.

It is, in fact, religious fanatics like yourself that are the problem. By the way, allah is just the word God in a different language. It is better to say nothing and have people think you're a fool than to speak and prove it!

Great song, a few decades ago there was a call for that song to replace the star spangled banner as our national anthem. Does make one feel proud to be an American, thanks for sharing with us I, for one, love to listen to this song. There are a few who will be upset because it mentions God but I’m not one of those idiots.

Thank you Mary Kate I remember Kate Smith and that song from when I was a Kid. She had her own TV show a long time ago and she was great. You posting her singing God Bless America has made my day

The same as I feel about the Catholics during the Spanish Inquisition who did the same thing. Fanaticism run amok. BTW, there should be a comma after fanatic, not a period. I'm a fanatic about grammar and punctuation. Nobody dies.

I am trying to be current. Don't forget the Prosantant Reformation. It's the thought dear boy, not the punctuations. So would the statement about Islam be correct? Someone might start a reference to you with the letter A.
