They are great camera's, I have the TG-4 and TG-5. They both produce excellent photographs and are tough as hell. The battery life on these cameras are great and they have accessory lenses for telephoto and wide angle that greatly extend the focal range and they can be used under water. Overall, a great primary or secondary camera to have in your arsenal.

I'd go with the 85mm 1.8

I am doing character studies not "Pretty" shots.

You should check out the Nikkor 85mm 1.8, it is much less expensive than the 105 and it is a very sharp lens.

I have the original disk but isn't it limited to only one download?

According to Adobe, you are able to install their programs on 2 computers. Such as a desktop and a laptop, but I think there may be an issue if you use them at the same time.

Her size, and by that I mean her overall size. Picture a beautiful, alluring and sexy woman who is the size of Dwayne Johnson. Except Dwayne Johnson is 6' 5" and an Amazon might be a bit taller.

Having worked in the computer field for over 28 years it's been my experience that you should leave your computer on but re-boot every day. That way your able to clear memory of any lingering programs that might still be in hanging around and you clear your page file of any orphan data. Re-booting helps keep your computer running at it's best and one of the main reason components fail is by being turned on and off repeatedly. Just my 2 cents.

My daughter is looking for a computer and she is thinking of going with a iMac or a Dell. Currently Amazon has this deal. Thoughts?

Dell XPS x8900-7319BLK Tower Desktop (Intel Core i7-6700K 4GHz Processor, NVIDIA Gaming GTX 960, 24 GB RAM, 2 TB HDD + 256 GB SDD, Windows 10 Pro) Black

Thanks

That's a beast of a machine for that price. IMHO she should snatch that up quick. After spending 30 years in the computer field there are 3 things that I always told anybody looking to buy a computer, 1: Get the most advanced technology you can afford, 2: Get more than you think you need, and number 3: (the MOST important) Don't look back.

This is straight from the D810 manual; Press the multi selector up or down to change the information during photo viewing.
