Can't get rid of photo data when reviewing shots on LCD--Nikon D810

I've been using a D810 for a few months and feel I have it mostly under control!!! However, one problem has eluded solution. When I take a picture and view it on the camera's display, the data sheet is plastered right over the photo, obscuring the picture. I've tried lots of things but I have not eliminated this nuisance. Can someone enlighten me? Thanks.

I am not sure of the button names on Nikon, but on my Canon when reviewing images I can push the Info and it will cycle through data, the histogram and then no detail except the image.

Nikon users will have a firm answer for you.

You should be able to toggle through your options using the up and down arrows on your multi-function dial (on the back of your camera, right side).

When I am previewing the images on the rear screen I use the large tilting button. Tilting right and left previews the images before and after. Tilting the button up or down previews the data. Usually whatever you were previewing it in will stay in use the next time you preview. Hope that helps.

Try pushing the + or - button that you normally use for zooming in and out when viewing images.

This is straight from the D810 manual; Press the multi selector up or down to change the information during photo viewing.

There is a thing called a manual. It has information in it.

True. Though there have been times that I would have been unable to find the needed information in the manual because I was ignorant of the relevant terminology. For example, does "large tilting button"= multi selector dial?

Thanks. I found that solution also, but it's not ideal.

Looks like I should print off an online manual. Haven't done that, yet.
