Sounds idea, Garth. Do you carry a camera?
I am also on cardiac maintenance. I have 4 coronary stents implanted.
I am 10 minutes away from a hospital rehab facility, which I try to
visit twice a week. Stationary bike, 'arm bike,' treadmill, stepper,
and 10lb. barbells. The room does have windows; but, alas, the scene
never changes, ha! To keep from falling asleep I do Sudoku & Numbrix puzzles, ha!

WOW, Garth!
SIX MILES!
The thought exhausts me! Believe I'll take a nap, ha!
Perhaps you have scenery to inspire you.

Thanks, Garth! Yes, handheld. Tripods, monopods, and continuous release take the fun out of it for me. Bought my used 70-200 VRII f/2.8 on eBay for less than $1000. But I'm 77yrs old with leukemia which zaps my energy; toting the 70-200 for a 3hr. night game thoroughly wears me out! Life is good, and I enjoy UHH!

Over a year ago, I bought my 70-200 VRII f/2.8 used on eBay, wanting better baseball pics at night. Sometimes the lights at small-town baseball diamonds ain't much to brag about! But we can stop the flight of a baseball.
Taken about sundown; then an hour later.

During baseball season often I take about 1000 pictures per week with my Nikon 70-300 f4.5-5.6 AF-S IF ED VR (red) lens, and am well-satisfied with it for daytime photos. For games after sundown, to stop action, I endure the extra weight of my 70-200 VRII f/2.8

Since mid-Feb I take about 1000 baseball photos per week with my D500. Daylight pics with my 70-300(4.5) lens; then 70-200(2.8) after sundown.
I'm pleased with that camera, even though I don't claim to be an expert. Samples here:

Other misc. D500 pics scattered throughout my Flickr albums.

I use my Nikon D500, usually at 1/3200. Shutter priority with the camera deciding the ISO.
It used 25600, 20000, 16000, and 1100. The last pic was a bit before sundown, the others
a couple of hours later. The ballpark has new turf, but I won't brag about the lights -- I'm
guessing they are at least 20 years old. My 70-300 f/4.5-5.6 wouldn't do the job for me after
twilight with my Nikon D5200. So bought the 70-200 f/2.8 and like it.

Thanks for affirming my choice. I am complimented. I've been pleased.
At my age and physical condition, the lens is about all I can handle, ha!
I like to use a variety of angles, which I am allowed to do at our 'home'
ballpark, and to resort to a tripod or monopod would take some of the fun
out of it for me.

70 mph & low light sounds like what I wanted to deal with
for baseball after dark. I bought a used 70-200 Nikon f/2.8 on eBay.
Here are some results.

Some 'twilight' shots with the 70 - 200 F2.8 last night.
No tweaking nor cropping.
The last shot shows how far you can reach with it.
