I have had nothing but good experiences with non-generic inks!!
Very nice, looks like a wonderful place to visit!
The upside is that, in this day and age, if you are just looking for something to play around with, you really can't go wrong with any choice you make from any of the major manufacturers. Don't overthink it and get paralysis by analysis. Just buy a camera that fits in your budget and get out there and make pictures.
Very cool. Love his music (and most guitar music, in general). Thanks for posting it!
Timbuk2 does something similar. You can go to their website (or one of their retail outlets) and design your own bag, with whatever features you desire. They also sell camera inserts for whichever size bag you choose. Pretty cool idea.
Thanks for the replies. I will check out your suggestions. Running CCleaner as we speak.
Good morning all,
I have recently been having a problem with PSCC running super slow when it comes to the making selections for masks, or using adjustment brushes. I have an Asus laptop with i7 Quad Core and 32g RAM running Win 10 and the latest versions of PS and LR CC. When using adjustment brushes or making a selection, it takes minutes for the changes to take effect or the selection to complete. I had this same problem about a year ago and someone provided me a solution to the problem but I can't remember what the solution was. Unfortunately, when searching my previous posts, only the first page of answers is archived for that particular post and, of course, the information I am looking for isn't there.
Thanks in advance for any help,
Thanks,
Trent
Absolutely spectacular! Great shots of one of my favorite places in the world.

I do quite a bit of B/W street photography. In doing so, you'll learn as much about yourself, as you do your subject matter.

That pretty much nails it, from one end to the other! I might add a little of my perspective...
I would not say it is actually "common" to take pictures of the homeless etc, just that is is all too common. Most Street photographers realize that, and just don't do it. Some people, however, never seem to understand.
The issue of boring and pointless is sort of interesting. I tend to agree that much, if not downright most, of what is displayed as Street is indeed boring and pointless, at least to me. But then again I read every comment in the Street Photography section, and it is very clear that for some people the images that I see as boring are not (and also some that I see as really fascinating, simply bore many people). I'm left with the clear observation that people are different! What I've been most fascinated with in recent years is the different things that different people find in an image, though that isn't really about photography and certainly doesn't influence what kind of images I want to make.
It's also worth noting that the same applies to all genres of photography! Boring and pointless, except for the specific stuff that interests me today. And everyone else seems to see it the same way, except they are interested in different stuff! A good thing, too.

I agree. When I say they are boring and pointless, that is my personal opinion and I, most certainly, am not the standard bearer for what is great photography. Like most every other photographer, I have made images that I thought were pretty good and they were received by others with lukewarm interest, at best. Conversely, there are many photographs from throughout the history of the medium, that are considered iconic and great, that I just don't get. To each their own.
I would also say to the original poster, if you want to go out into the street and make photographs, and that is what you enjoy doing, go for it. Who cares what anyone else thinks.
Regarding the picture posted in response to my post by travelwp: Case in point. A well dressed man holding a well dressed child. Who are they? What are they doing? What's the point? What's the context? What's the story? Why was this picture taken? Why should we care about them? Perfect example of a weak picture converted (poorly) to black and white, which is supposed to give it meaning. Again, yawn.
