We spent the Thanksgiving week at our Zion condo. The park was crowded for the holiday; so we decided to explore to the west, in Nevada. Google maps showed a place called Cathedral Gorge State Park…located in a remote part of the NV desert. The formations were unique, plus…deserted…quiet!

Thanks. I tried to explain a couple of them, but somehow that was omitted when I posted...oh well. It is an interesting place. I do prefer the "natural" look, whatever that is.

Thanks...me either until Google Maps enlightened me. I find "G-maps" a great way to look for places to explore.
